Mr. Holder has served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer since October 2001.
Before joining the Company, Mr. Holder was Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Park Place Capital Corporation, an asset management and servicing company, a position he assumed in February 2001.
From January 1996 to January 2001, Mr. Holder served as President and Co-Chief Executive Officer of New Century Mortgage Corporation. Mr. Holder also served as New Century Financial Corporation’s Vice Chairman of the Board from 1996 to 2000 and Chief Operating Officer from 1995 to 2000.
Prior to his tenure at New Century, Mr. Holder served in various positions, including Executive Vice President of Long Beach Mortgage Company from 1993 to 1995.
Mr. Holder worked in the financial services industry in various positions, including serving as Vice President of Transamerica Financial Services from 1990 to 1993 and Regional Vice President of NOVA Financial Services, a division of First Interstate Bank, from 1985 to 1990.
Mr. Holder has 30 years of lending and consumer finance experience.
Mr. Santi brings to the Board over 38 years of board experience, executive leadership and 18 years of public accounting experience as a CPA with a specialization in taxation. Mr. Santi’s public accounting experience includes being a Partner with Ernst & Young LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP, and a Manager with Deloitte & Touche with expertise in securitization, REIT structuring, Business Development Companies, mergers and acquisitions, complex debt and equity structuring, strategic planning, deal structuring and integration. Mr Santi is a member of the Board of Directors of Axos Bank and served as Enterprise CFO with Roosevelt Management Company, LLC. Prior to joining Roosevelt Management, he served as President, CEO, CFO and board member for Elderlife Financial Services, LLC. He was President and CFO with ECC Capital Corporation from 2004 – 2019 and also served on the board of Federal National Holdings, Inc. Mr. Santi has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Pace University in New York, New York, and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1988 – Certified in Maryland and Virginia (status – inactive).
Mr. Lorber is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of PhenixFIN Corporation. Mr. Lorber is a Co-Founder of FrontFour Capital Group LLC, an investment adviser, and has served as a Portfolio Manager since January 2007. He is also a Co-Founder of FrontFour Capital Corp., an investment adviser, and has been a Principal since January 2011. Previously, Mr. Lorber was a Senior Investment Analyst at Pirate Capital LLC, a hedge fund, from 2003 to 2006. He was an Analyst at Vantis Capital Management LLC, a money management firm and hedge fund, from 2001 to 2003 and an Associate at Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., a global real estate firm, from 2000 to 2001. Mr. Lorber has served as a director of Ferro Corporation, a leading producer of specialty materials and chemicals for manufacturers, since May 2013, where he is also Lead Director, Chairman of its Governance & Nomination Committee and a member of its Compensation Committee. From April 2006 until December 2014, Mr. Lorber served as a director of Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings, Inc. (formerly GenCorp Inc.), a technology-based manufacturer of aerospace and defense products and systems with a real estate segment. He also previously served as a director of Huntingdon Capital Corp., a real estate company, from January 2010 to May 2013 and was a Trustee for IAT Air Cargo Facilities Income Fund, a real estate company, from January 2009 to December 2009. He also served as a director of Fisher Communications Inc., an integrated media company, from April 2009 to March 2012. Mr. Lorber earned his BS from Skidmore College.
